We’re excited to announce that Adrian Bloch is going to be providing colours on The Spider King.
Adrian is an illustrator from Nantes, France. He graduated from Art School in 2012, and co-created the association “L’Encre Blanche" in 2013. In addition to freelance work, He and the team at L’Encre Blanche published their first book, Katarakt! in 2014.
You should definitely visit his website and look at his illustrations: bloch-adrian.tumblr.com/
Simone and Adrian have been working together closely to create a specific atmosphere for the world of The Spider King, and so far the results have been dark, moody, and candle-lit.
Here’s a sneaky peek at the time consuming processes that Simone goes through when he draws every page of The Spider King.
This page is the very first appearance of Sigrid, who wastes no time making her presence felt, laying the smack down on a bunch of old vikings as soon as she appears.
Tribute for Spider king, a graphic novel by Josh Vann and Simone D’armini
Already funded in Kickstarter!!
I know it’s been quiet here on the blog, but we’ve been locked away in isolation working hard on The Spider King book.
BUT! we’re back now, and we’ve got some great tributes and news to share, starting with this fantastic piece by my amazing friend Miguel Valderrama.

Team! We’ve hit $25,000 on the kickstarter campaign! Which means that stretch goal 1 is unlocked, and the book will now be extended to 80 pages!
Every dollar over will be invested into making the book longer and meaner and bigger and badder.
There’s 3 hours left so if you’re planning to pledge NOW IS THE TIME!

No video game character today I figured I’d lit suggestions build up a bit before I dive into the list. So for today I figured I’d contribute to the fantastic fan art for the exciting up and coming comic “The Spider King” http://thespiderking-comic.com/
